My objective is to protect your assets and your loved ones
I am a member of the Society of Will Writers & Estate Planning Practitioners and a Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals. I hold the Specialist Paralegal Qualification in Wills, Probate & Administration awarded by the University of the West of England at Bristol.
Since 2007, I have offered a friendly, professional and ethical service to my clients in the comfort of their own home, at a time to suit them. Covering the whole of Kent and surrounding areas, my aim is to offer people affordable peace of mind in dealing with very important but often difficult and emotional issues.
All work undertaken is covered by a Professional Indemnity Insurance of £2.5 million, so you can be sure of receiving the best possible advice upon which you can decide on the course of action that most appropriately covers your personal circumstances.
When discussing Estate Planning requirements, it is important to enable individuals, couples and families to make an informed decision on what best suits their own specific circumstances and addresses their wishes and concerns.
As part of my professional duty of care, I will listen to your wishes and concerns and then advise you on a broad range of Will and Estate Planning options. I will also make you aware of any implications of choosing one particular option over another.
Together, we can put in place suitable arrangements to:
Ensure that your Estate is distributed according to your wishes.
Offer protection from the clutches of the Tax Man.
Help to protect the family home from vulnerability to third party social threats such as creditors, divorce, remarriage etc.
Protect your children’s futures by appointing guardians of your choice and placing their inheritance in Trust until they are of an age to make mature financial decisions.
Ensure the fair distribution of assets for unmarried couples and families with children from previous relationships.
Ensure your business interests are satisfactorily covered in your Will.
Protect the inheritance you leave from second generation tax liability
Address your needs in respect of other aspects of the Estate Planning process such as Living Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and pre-paid Funeral Plans.
When advising bereaved families on the legal requirements of dealing with their loved one’s affairs, I am acutely aware of the distress and other emotions they are experiencing.
Most people want to be involved in the process but don’t want the additional stress and anxiety that this normally brings.
If you find yourself in this position, my aim is to enable you to have the involvement you desire whilst making it as easy as possible for you by ensuring that all the legal requirements are met.
I will advise you on what needs to be done and when, as well as offering you as little or as much assistance with the form filling and letter writing as you feel you need.
